Metropolitan Lullabbies
Metropolitan Lullabies tells the story of the encounter between man and city.
The city is reduced to its central areas: the parts of town taken over by distracted tourists, shop fronts, total frenzy and by man, who lays his head to rest in abandonment on those very streets. Downtown, hectic during the day, exists on that thin line between the crowded fast-paced flow, and its empty peaceful nights: after the masses retire to their homes, it leaves behind only the invisible wounded by its own indifference. The other faces of humanity climbs onto darknesses pedestal. The city transforms itself into loving and comforting haven and opens its welcoming arms of marble and cement to marginal members of society, whispering to them simple metropolitan bedtime stories.
